Решила собрать эти отрывки в пост. Сама игра меня меня не привлекает (даже если бы была возможность поехать - меня не интересует возможность порасследовать в шкуре Шерлока). (При том, что в комп. играх я играю исключительно в квестыПри том, что в комп. играх я играю исключительно в квесты, но играю очень своеобразным способом. Перед началом игры отыскиваю подробное прохождение и играю, глядя в него. В итоге получается почти что просмотр компьютерного детектива
, этакое кино (или мультик). Проходить своими силами я тоже пробовала, и у меня даже получалось, но усилия были несоразмерны результату, и потому никакого удовольствия не получалось. Так что, кому что. Я вот так развлекаюсь). Но вот эти кусочки, которые явно писали Моффисы, довольно прикольно сделаны.

SH (sigh): Oh, come one, you know the answer to that.
MH: Certain cells of The Network have gone rather … quiet. They’re not with you, by any chance?
SH (annoyed/sarcastic(?)): No. I have not been hiding them. This is not an international game of sardines.
MH (sigh): Concerning … I don’t suppose you, uh, fancy returning?
SH (distant from the phone) : No, not really.
MH (indistinguishable) : I thought not. Well then. You’ve driven me to it. We are simply short of minds. No amount of quiet recruitment can compensate for our sheer dearth of numbers. We shall have to recruit … (with disdain) publicly.
SH (disbelieving) : Recruit … real people?
MH: Real people.
SH: Mycroft, you know you can’t trust them. They’re into all sorts of … strange things: high protein yogurts, photographs of food, voting.
MH: Yes, but at least they’re replaceable.
SH: There’s so many of them!
MH: More and more every day. It’s horrifying. You can’t stop them spawning. (laughingly) Believe me, we’ve tried.
SH: Well, good luck, with them, obviously. Sweden sends its regards.
MH (excited) : It does?
SH: No, not really.

MYCROFT: Yes, London. Though, obviously it can’t be public- too vulnerable. We need, as they say, a front.
SHERLOCK: Well, a dry-cleaners is customary- useful, too. They could do your suits.
MYCROFT: Mm, too trite.
SHERLOCK: A salon?
MYCROFT: What sort of salon?
SHERLOCK: I don’t know- dog?
MYCROFT: I hardly want to add animals to the mix, Sherlock, we’ve got enough problems with lower life forms with all these recruits.
SHERLOCK: Wait! There is something we can do.
MYCROFT: Go on.
SHERLOCK: Does involve a- certain… doctor.
MYCROFT: Ah. A front for a front. I’m all ears.
Side note: I’m interpreting Mycroft’s “a front for a front” line to be a double/triple pun of sorts. We have front obviously meaning a facade for a secret organisation (Doyle’s Opticians= The Network), but Mycroft is saying John is also a front. Front can also be a military related term (so applicable to John as a soldier) or a way of concealing your real emotions= “putting up a brave front.” I think Mycroft’s saying John “acts” like an “ordinary civilian” ( ‘just’ Doctor John Watson facade) when he’s anything but.
