Casting Call for a Young Sherlock
Casting breakdown - SHERLOCK Series IV Episode 3
We are looking for a boy to play YOUNG SHERLOCK (Benedict Cumberbatch) in SHERLOCK Series IV Episode 3. This is a non-speaking role featured in a couple of flashback scenes.
Actor must be between 3’6” and 3’9”, to play 6 years old, with blue eyes and preferably black or brown curly hair. We will consider submissions from other child actors with other hair colour if they fit all other requirements.
Filming dates are from 27th June for 5 weeks, filming in Cardiff. Producer is Sue Vertue for Hartswood Films for BBC1 and Director is Benjamin Caron.
Meetings will be this Thursday 23rd June in London. Please send photo and CV asap to [email protected] with YOUNG SHERLOCK CASTING in the subject bar.
